Jonathan Juviler M.Ost is a registered osteopath who trained at the prestigious British School of Osteopathy, qualifying with a Master’s degree. His previous career was as a professional drummer working in studios across the country and performing extensively throughout Europe. His experience in a physically demanding job has given him a good understanding of what it is to be reliant on a fully-functioning healthy body, and of the worry and frustration when coping with injuries or pain.

Jonathan has a wide range of experience in the treatment of amateur and high level sportspeople, musicians, dancers, those suffering with chronic pain conditions and people with postural complaints. He has worked in specialist clinics treating older patients, those suffering with HIV, and expectant mothers.

Jonathan has done additional training in a variety of areas including advanced manipulation techniques, functional techniques and sports massage therapy in order to offer his patients a broad and unique treatment programme.

Jonathan has lectured at The Royal College of Music in areas such as how our bodies function under stress whilst performing and adapting posture to reduce the likelihood of injury.

He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy.

“I started seeing Jonathan a year ago for a running related injury and had to drop out of my plan to run the marathon. With Jonathan’s help I finally managed to cross the finish line of the London Marathon this year.

I’d seen a variety of physios and osteopaths and knew instantly with Jonathan I was in good hands. His warm nature and great advice has got me to where I am today.

I would recommend Jonathan to anyone for a great service and with time and dedication, great results.”

“Jonathan Juviler is a miracle worker – if you are in pain you must go and see him. I went to my doctor having had to spend a whole sleepless night sitting upright as something had dislodged, or so it felt, at the base of my spine and I could barely walk.

Extra strong pain killers and rest was prescribed but instead I went to see Jonathan.

After just one (painful!) session I was walking freely again, and the next day absolutely back to normal. My doctor was so impressed that she referred someone else to Jonathan who had a similar condition – same results! Highly, highly recommended.”

Julie, West London

“I’ve been treated by Jonathan regarding ongoing issues with my TMJ (jaw) and two herniated discs in my low back. Jonathan is always kind, understanding and instantly puts you at ease. He is patient in explaining the problems and ways to help them.

From my first session, I felt confident in my recovery and safe in his hands. He has provided me with a guided recovery plan including stretches and gradual strengthening exercises. My pain and symptoms have been reduced and my day to day movement has improved dramatically.”

Karen, West London

“Jonathan has helped me to recover from several rock climbing-related injuries in the last few years, always with great success. On each occasion he carefully assessed my injury and its causes before treating it, and also gave me helpful advice on how I could help the injury to continue to heal itself, including relevant exercises or stretches, and how I could prevent it from reoccurring.

He also carefully explained the anatomy of the affected area, how the injury had affected its normal operation, and how the treatment which he would be giving me would assist and encourage the natural healing process.

Jonathan always provides a professional, friendly and reassuring service, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.”

Steve, Putney

“I went to see Jonathan about 6 weeks before my 5th marathon. I had some pain and niggles that were becoming more and more apparent as training went on and I wanted to prevent them from getting any worse. He listened very patiently and took the time to assess me from head to toe, not just focusing on the areas I indicated.

A combination of treatment sessions, rest and specific exercises sorted everything out and kept me on my feet. I went on to run a Personal Best. There are many out there who claim to be able to deal with sports injuries through their treatment alone. Jonathan knows that it is a combination of his treatment and the efforts of the individual to do as prescribed that really gets results. He is helpful, genuine, honest and loves what he does. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.”
